Note:

  1. All timeframes referred to in this Policy are based on working days (Monday to Friday), excluding statutory holidays of China and the destination country/region, as well as logistics service providers’ rest days.
  2. This Policy applies to all customized metal products ordered through YAZS official website (yazs.world) for domestic and cross-border shipments, and shall be read together with YAZS Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Shipping Policy.
  3. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Regions of China follow the same after-sales rules as the Chinese mainland.

YAZS is committed to providing standardized and professional return, refund and after-sales services for customized metal products. This Policy clearly defines the eligibility, procedures and liability division for returns and refunds, and all after-sales processing shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions herein.

SECTION 1 – RETURN ELIGIBILITY & PROCEDURE (REP)

1.1 Basic Return Eligibility

Customized metal products are not eligible for return or exchange for change of mind due to their personalized attributes. Returns are only accepted if the products are received with the following issues caused by YAZS:

  • Production errors (e.g., incorrect engraving, customized pattern deviation, wrong specifications);
  • Inherent quality defects (e.g., structural fracture, severe deformation, unqualified material);
  • Transportation damage (evidenced by unpacking video with the logistics courier present);
  • Missing quantities confirmed to be YAZS’s fault.

Non-returnable circumstances:

  • Minor process defects (e.g., slight coloring unevenness, tiny scratches, minor paint bubbles) caused by manual production and technical limitations;
  • Problems caused by the buyer’s design confirmation errors, improper use, artificial damage or secondary processing;
  • Products with incomplete original packaging, missing accessories or signs of secondary use;
  • Return applications submitted beyond the specified time limit.

1.2 Return Application Time Limit & Materials

  • Application time limit: Submit a return application to YAZS customer service within 7 working days from the date of product receipt;
  • Required application materials:
  • Order number, buyer’s full name and contact information;
  • Clear description of the problem (matching the return eligibility scope);
  • Valid inspection evidence (photos/videos of the defective product with the order number in the same frame; unpacking video for transportation damage);
  • Original delivery note of the order (if available).

1.3 Return Approval & Shipping Requirements

  1. After receiving the return application, YAZS will verify the materials and notify the buyer of the approval result within 3 working days;
  2. For approved returns, YAZS will provide the designated domestic return shipping address and related instructions;
  3. The buyer shall bear all return shipping costs (including cross-border shipping and customs duties) and use a trackable shipping service;
  4. The return package must be marked with the corresponding order number on the waybill; YAZS shall not be liable for lost or damaged products during return shipping, nor for failed sign-in due to unmarked order numbers;
  5. The returned products must be kept in the original packaging with complete accessories and no secondary use traces; otherwise, YAZS has the right to reject the return.

SECTION 2 – REFUND RULES (RR)

2.1 Refund Initiation & Timeframe

  1. After YAZS receives and inspects the returned products and confirms they meet the return standards, the refund process will be initiated within 72 working hours;
  2. The refund amount will be credited back to the buyer’s original payment account within 3-7 working days from the date of refund processing; the actual arrival time depends on the settlement rules of the payment provider.

2.2 Refund Amount Definition

2.2.1 Full Refund (YAZS’s fault)

For returns caused by YAZS’s production errors, quality defects or missing quantities, the full payment amount will be refunded, including:

  • Product payment;
  • Cross-border shipping fees and import duties prepaid by the buyer (evidenced by payment vouchers).

2.2.2 Partial Refund

  1. If the parcel is returned due to the buyer’s refusal to pay import duties/taxes, YAZS will deduct the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, warehousing fee and other related incurred fees from the product payment, and refund the remaining amount;
  2. For returns with incomplete packaging or missing accessories, YAZS will deduct the corresponding compensation fee according to the actual loss, and refund the remaining amount.

2.3 Refund Exceptions

YAZS has the right to reject the refund application if:

  • The returned products do not meet the return eligibility and packaging requirements;
  • The buyer provides false inspection evidence or conceals the actual cause of the problem;
  • The return application is submitted beyond the specified time limit with no justifiable reason.

SECTION 3 – AFTER-SALES WARRANTY & REPRODUCTION/REPAIR (ASWR)

3.1 Warranty Period

YAZS provides a 90-day quality warranty for all customized metal products, calculated from the date of product shipment. The warranty only covers non-artificial quality problems caused by production processes.

Warranty exclusion circumstances:

  • Artificial damage, improper use, natural wear and tear or secondary processing of products by the buyer;
  • Product problems caused by force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, transportation accidents beyond YAZS’s control);
  • Minor process defects specified in Section 1.1 of this Policy.

3.2 Free Reproduction (7 Working Days After Receipt)

If the buyer finds missing quantities or serious quality problems (caused by YAZS) within 7 working days of receiving the products, YAZS will:

  1. Reproduce the missing or defective products free of charge;
  2. Arrange the delivery of the reproduced products in the same shipping method as the original order, and bear the corresponding shipping costs;
  3. The import duties and taxes for cross-border delivery of reproduced products shall be borne by the buyer in accordance with the destination country/region regulations.

3.3 Free Repair (90-Day Warranty Period)

For non-artificial quality problems within the 90-day warranty period:

  1. YAZS will provide free repair services (including free repair materials);
  2. The buyer shall prepay the shipping fee for sending the defective products back to YAZS’s designated address, and provide the shipping fee payment voucher;
  3. After the repair is completed, YAZS will issue a shipping fee equivalent coupon to the buyer (no cash redemption);
  4. If the product cannot be repaired due to serious quality problems, YAZS will either reproduce the product for free or provide a full refund at the buyer’s option.

3.4 Coupon Usage Rules

The shipping fee equivalent coupon issued by YAZS is subject to the following rules:

  • Valid for 90 days from the date of issuance;
  • Only applicable to the deduction of product payment for orders on YAZS official website;
  • Non-transferable, non-cash redeemable and cannot be used in combination with other discounts.

SECTION 4 – ORDER CANCELLATION & SHIPPING ADDRESS MODIFICATION (OCAM)

4.1 Order Cancellation

  • Orders can only be canceled before the design drawing is confirmed and production is initiated; YAZS will refund the full payment for the canceled order within 3-7 working days;
  • No order cancellation requests will be accepted after the design drawing is confirmed and production is initiated, nor after the order is shipped.

4.2 Shipping Address Modification

  • The shipping address can only be modified before the order enters the production processing stage; the buyer shall contact the YAZS sales team immediately for modification;
  • No shipping address modification requests will be accepted after the order enters the production processing stage or after shipment, for the safety of production and logistics.

SECTION 5 – FEES & TAXES (FT)

5.1 Return Shipping Costs

All return shipping costs (including domestic/cross-border shipping fees, packaging fees and logistics insurance fees) shall be borne by the buyer, unless the return is caused by YAZS’s serious production errors or whole-batch quality defects (YAZS bears the costs in this case).

5.2 Import Duties & Taxes

  1. Import duties, local consumption taxes, customs clearance fees and other related taxes for cross-border returns/reproductions are borne by the buyer in accordance with the laws and customs regulations of the destination country/region;
  2. YAZS is not responsible for declaring, paying or reimbursing any cross-border after-sales related taxes, nor for any after-sales delays or losses caused by the buyer’s failure to pay taxes on time.

5.3 Other Fees

For fees incurred due to the buyer’s reasons (e.g., warehousing fees for unclaimed parcels, re-delivery fees for wrong addresses), YAZS has the right to deduct the corresponding amount from the refund or require the buyer to pay separately.

SECTION 6 – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

6.1 Return & Refund

Q: Can I return the customized product if I change my mind after receiving it?

A: No. Customized metal products have personalized attributes and are not eligible for return or exchange for change of mind, in accordance with the industry practice and this Policy.

Q: What should I do if I receive a damaged customized product?

A: Please contact YAZS customer service at support@yazs.world within 7 working days of receipt, and provide the order number, unpacking video (with the logistics courier present) and damaged product photos. Our team will verify the information and guide you through the return or reproduction process.

Q: How long does it take for the refund to arrive in my account?

A: After the returned product is inspected and qualified, we will initiate the refund process within 72 working hours, and the refund will be credited back to your original payment account within 3-7 working days. The actual arrival time may vary due to different payment providers.

6.2 Warranty & Repair

Q: What is the warranty period for customized products, and what does it cover?

A: We provide a 90-day quality warranty from the date of shipment, covering non-artificial quality problems caused by production processes. Artificial damage, improper use and minor process defects are not included in the warranty.

Q: Who bears the shipping fee for sending the defective product back for repair?

A: The buyer shall prepay the return shipping fee, and we will issue a shipping fee equivalent coupon after the repair is completed (the coupon is valid for 90 days and can be used for order payment deduction on our official website).

6.3 Order Cancellation & Modification

Q: Can I cancel my order after confirming the design drawing?

A: No. Once the design drawing is confirmed and production is initiated, the order cannot be canceled, as the customized production has already started and irreversible costs have been incurred.

Q: What if I need to modify the shipping address after placing the order?

A: You can only modify the shipping address before the order enters the production processing stage. Please contact our sales team immediately for modification; no address modification is allowed after production initiation or shipment.

6.4 Fees & Taxes

Q: Will I get a full refund if the parcel is returned due to tax refusal?

A: No. We will deduct the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, warehousing fee and other related incurred fees from the product payment, and refund the remaining amount to your original payment account.

Q: Who bears the import tax for the free reproduced products?

A: The import duties and taxes for cross-border delivery of free reproduced products shall be borne by the buyer, in accordance with the latest customs regulations of the destination country/region.

SECTION 7 – CHANGES TO THIS POLICY (CTRR)

YAZS reserves the right to update, amend or replace any part of this Returns & Refunds Policy at its sole discretion, in accordance with the customization industry rules, cross-border trade policies and company business development needs.

Any revised version of this Policy will be posted on YAZS official website (yazs.world) with a prominent notice and a reasonable public comment period of at least seven (7) calendar days prior to its effective date. The revised version will take effect on the stated effective date; if no effective date is specified, it will take effect immediately upon posting.

Your continued use of YAZS customized product services after the effective date of the revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. It is your responsibility to check the official website periodically for updates to this Policy.
